INTERACTION

The two and a half year old grandboy slides one finger up for a moment of boy and snake interaction before boy and snake go their separate ways in search of lunch.

THE LETTER V

A very quick rendition of the letter V before his tongue goes in. If he had stuck it out a little more I could have had a Y too.

HERO

What this little frog needs is a hero and, with much booing from me,  my sister insists her husband be it. Snake and frog both live to eat another lunch. Quite possibly snake returned for supper that same day.

FAVORITE FOOD

When you won't let go of lunch even after giant hands have picked you up, it's clear this is a favorite food.

ENTRANCE

Don't you hate it when you grab carry out for lunch and it won't fit into the entrance to your office?

GARDEN

The water garden appears to be a calm oasis of green on a late summer day. With a close look you'll see that it does, however, have one occupant in common with a legendary garden...

SOFTNESS

At this time of year when the garden is mostly seed heads and spent blooms, the grasses add a softness to the scene.

PRICKLY

Castor bean flower. The seed within is very poisonous so the plants should not be grown where small children are likely to find the seeds.

SUMMER FUN

Music is one of the best parts of the summer fun at the Farmer's Market and the once a month Mosey Down Main evenings.   Mr. Bojangles and CW were part of the treat this weekend.

FRUITS AND/OR VEGETABLES?

Farmer's Market downtown Lafayette, Indiana. I think the women in front of the melons were each having an internal debate about the great cantalope/watermelon discussion--is it a fruit or a vegetable?  One lady has even used her Phone a Friend option for help.

AND THE SIGN SAYS...

I love late summer/Autumn Saturdays in my hometown. Purdue University football. The downtown Farmer's Market. The last of the Mosey on Main series.
