FRUITS AND/OR VEGETABLES?
Farmer's Market downtown Lafayette, Indiana. I think the women in front of the melons were each having an internal debate about the great cantalope/watermelon discussion--is it a fruit or a vegetable? One lady has even used her Phone a Friend option for help.

I have had this conversation a few times regarding tomatoes - which are technically both (although I am in the 'vegetable' camp - largely so I can claim that I actually do eat vegetables). As for melons, I say "fruit"
Just wait til they get to the tomatoes! Great slice of life shot.
I think they are berries! I love all the various expressions and wonder what that girl facing away is standing on.
