We have fruit bats that fill the evening sky like that! Acloud themselves.

That is a sight I wish I had around here. I saw them once like that in Arkansas but here about the only flocks we see are seagulls, crows and pigeons, and you don't want to be directly underneath them.
it's great, never seen before! Would like to see them in realty, but your picture gives a very good impression!
