DISORDER

A tornado created disorder just a couple of streets from a house we own. Happily no one was injured and serious property damage was limited. The part that amazed me was the very tight path of damage--homes on either side didn't have as much as a branch out of place.  I expected to find leaves and branches to clean up throughout a general area beyond where the tornado actually touched down. The path where it first touched down maybe 1/2 mile away could clearly be seen as well as where it traveled across the fields and woods both before and after this hit.

Truly a frightening image--the random nature of tornadis is one of the things that makes them so terrifying.

That will take some time to clean up. So glad no one was injured. Still, pretty scary.

When we drove past Red Oaks after the tornado hit, we were amazed at the reality of it all. So much more damage could have taken place, yet so much was spared. You are right -- the path the tornado traveled was clearly seen; I was amazed at how clear that was! Hope all is well with you both. :) -Kelly

The randomness of tornado damage is so odd. Glad there wasn't more.

Nature may lose a battle but it will never lose the war. Very interesting photo account of what is happening.
