EMPTY

So what's the story behind an empty grocery cart on a nearly empty street in the Over-The-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati?

Grocery carts [known as shopping trolleys] where I come from are certainly colourful in Cincinnati! If they're anything like the ones over here they like to escape from the parking lots as often as possible - keeps someone in a job retrieving them LOL.

For an empty theme, there is a lot going on in this photo. I like it!

Hmmm wonder how far it traveled to arrive there. Where I live sometimes the homeless use them to carry their wares. It leads to interesting scenes sometimes. But this one just looks like maybe someone couldn't carry all their groceries.

Nice detail and lines in this intriguing image.

No idea, but it's a good example of empty!

My guess is someone "borrowed" it to push their groceries home. I'm wondering about the red color. All our grocery carts are silver.

A nice mystery, nice too that it is red

Interesting photo with the wire lines in the cart and the repeated bars in the window.

An unfinished story of urban abandonment.

I used to follow a blog by a guy who did Toronto area (sub)urban photography. One of the themes that ran through his work was wayward shopping carts. Your shot fits right in!
