As we walked into a garden area where one of the weddings will be held next summer, the deer were happily gorging themselves on the landscaping. You can see snow on the muzzle of the one on the far left where it had been digging through the snow to the perennial beds below. They looked very well fed thus the play on the stuffed animals theme.
**And Julie is correct in the comments below. We do have one daughter getting married twice in one day next summer. A Hindu ceremony in the morning, then a late afternoon Catholic ceremony to honor our family's faith tradition. Both on the same estate grounds but in different gardens.**

Beautiful, clear shot! The deer are pests, though, for homeowners. They even ate my roses -- thorns and all!
LOL! They do look stuffed. Lovely photo.
lol Now this is an excellent unique way to fill the theme! Those deer do look rather plump! :)
rut roh! Busted! I think deer are so cute, although I know they are a pest to many.
They really are looking well fed, but I think winter also for them is not so good a time.
So cute! Unless they're eating YOUR perennials! I did a double take with your description. I think you have one daughter getting married twice and not two daughters getting married. Or did I get that all wrong? ;-)
Classic "deer in winter" shot. Well composed & exposed.
Clever take on the theme!
My neighbor may be feeding these deer, too! Have you seen this area before, without snow on the ground? Hopefully there aren't any surprises of what may be underneath!
I like the looks on the faces of those stuffed deer - and the way they blend in with the trees.
Thanks for clarifying! This is a set of weddings I would love to see; honoring both the unique cultures and religions is going to make for a very special day.
I like your sense of humor. Certainly look like these two were caught stuffing themselves further!
