ON A FARM

Seeing balloons land in the fields reminds me that it's haying time. Nothing like the smell of new mown hay and the sting of sweat in your eyes, swelling bug bites on your legs and the taste of dust in your mouth. On a farm.

Thanks for explaining what it's really like so I don't have to live it myself :-)

Love the commentary . . . and the photo will make a perfect texture or background.

It is good texture. And to think this will be somebody's meal! Reminds me of Shredded Wheat.

looks like the bales are stacked on a wagon on the way to the barn - I can smell them from here.

Like a young dope I bucked hay once and only once, you are giving me a flashback. Wonderful lines to this, just a bit tippy stack ...

such a great pattern are texture of hay. Over here almost all hay gets hidden in white plasic to preserve in some way ( I don't know how) so the smell is lacking...
